Sales/BD Manager - Sea Freight (30K Up)

Your new company
The fast-growing logistic company is now hiring a Sea Freight Sales Manager to lead and develop the team. This person will be responsible for driving all sales & marketing activities throughout the sales process.

Your new role
  • Building new key accounts through self-generated sales leads and maintaining existing accounts
  • Self-driven with the ability to hit the ground running.
  • Managing a diverse team
  • Manage the day to day Start to finish Freight forwarding job of the client.
  • Knowledge of Customs entries
  • Invoice jobs on completion
  • Extensive supplier liaison and negotiation
  • Raising job files and all the appropriate paperwork

What you'll need to succeed
  • MUST have Sea Freight Sales & Operations experience.
  • Previous working experience in a sales or key account management role at a freight forwarder
  • 7 years Freight Forwarding Experience in all Modes
  • Skilled at Freight quotations and rate negotiations
  • An excellent communicator both written and verbally.
