Your new role
  • Bachelor of Science (BSc)/ Bachelor of Arts (BA) in computer science, engineering, or relevant fields
  • Integrate services, processes, applications, data, and technology through a design process across multiple domains and teams
  • Design solutions by partnering with Application Teams, Solution Architects, and Service Delivery Managers to provide solutions that support business outcomes
  • Integrating technology & service design across multiple domains and geographies
  • Own the architecture and evolution of the in-house platform
  • Ensure global, regional, and market relevant projects which require integration services are supported and advised following the integration standard and enterprise architecture directions
  • Coordinate the integration build and design activities with business applications and in house platform development team, guide the development team with integration design review and code review
  • Ensure the technical stabilization of the platform and technical communication on behalf of the regional platform team with other parties (e.g., infrastructure, security)

What you'll need to succeed
  • A minimum of 5 years in an architect or lead engineer role
  • Familiar with common integration patterns, analysis design, implementation of integrations, APIs with custom and packaged software in the cloud, hybrid, or on-premises solutions, and expertise in application integration
  • Implementation experience of at least one mainstream API management product (Microsoft API Management, Amazon API Gateway, Mulesoft, Kong, Apigee, IBM, Oracle, Webmethods, Tibco, Kafka, Apache Camel, etc.)
  • Familiar with technical details of the creation, publishing, and consumption of APIs
  • Familiar with integration and implementation backbone technology, including REST API, SOAP, MQ, etc.
  • Experience with API development and managing a complete lifecycle API development platform
  • Experience with integration architectures using a middleware/ESB (Microsoft Azure, MS Biztalk)
  • Familiar with cloud infrastructure/middleware services on the public cloud, familiar with Microsoft Azure Components (APIM, Function APP, Logic App, etc.)
  • Experience working in complex IT environments, able to prioritize and plan complex work independently in a rapidly changing context
  • Integration experience with Messaging like JMS, MQ
  • Strong technical background in cloud services across multiple domains, including infrastructure, networking, and security, with the ability to influence, articulate and balance various tradeoffs and benefits made
  • Exposure to traditional SDLC and Agile, DevOps, CI/CD projects, from analysis and client requirements, through implementation and rollout
  • Ability to leverage pre-built integrations, cloud adapters, connections, SaaS applications, etc., in the solution
  • Ability to create governing principles, developer guidelines, and knowledge of integration best practices, design patterns
  • Demonstrate proven qualities of leadership with integrity, humility, and open-mindedness
  • Good communication skills (written and oral) to convey the technical solution to stakeholders
  • Team player with experience leading and collaborating with different teams
  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to handle ambiguity and challenge the status quo to drive continuous improvements
  • Programming language experience like Java, JavaScript, and PL/SQL will be a plus
  • Experience working in a retail iindustry, with an understanding of customer trends and digital innovations in luxury retail, and MNC is a plus
