Our client is a well-established Global MNC and is currently seeking a data privacy professional or lawyer to join their Data team.

Your new role

• To monitor the compliance of the business operation with relevant data protection laws, and to inform risks and provide advices when necessary
• To develop, implement, manage and monitor internal policies and compliance processes for data protection
• To advise on data protection compliance audits and impact assessments, and to maintain and update the Group’s register of processing activities
• Work closely with different stakeholders and business units to deal with data protection issues

What you'll need to succeed

• 5 years PQE or above qualified lawyer specializing in data protection and privacy, preferably with experience in an organization that has substantial personal data operations
• Good knowledge in Hong Kong and European protection laws and practices
• Excellent interpersonal skills, independent, problem solver and able to multitask
