Enterprise Solution Architect - Cloud , Devops
Deliver technical solutions across multiple products, working closely with technical and product teams.

Your new role
- Ensure strategic alignment for cloud initiatives
- Provide oversight of architectural standards and compliance for cloud projects, adopt cloud native technology from various cloud service providers and work closely with IT team to ensure architecture can also cater other department’s need
- Determine cloud adoption options including risks and benefits for business use cases – work closely with China and local Business Partnering to understand the use cases and explore the optimal options to maximise benefits to the business
- Work close with technology and product team to establish overall technology and architecture framework and governance authority
- Provide expertise support to data engineer team and cloud engineer team on architectural matters and cloud adoption on-boarding roadmap
- Provide architectural design and guidance for cloud adoption in line with emerging and leading practices including adoption of multi-cloud – provide subject matter expertise on cloud architecture including cross-border adoptions
What you'll need to succeed
- Technical degree or equivalent experience required; Computer Science background desired
- 8+ years design & implementation experience on complex, large scale distributed applications
- Systems design experience, with the ability to architect or explain complex systems interactions including data flows, common interfaces, APIs and other methods
- Broad architecture skills, covering application, infrastructure, data and integration
- Sound understanding and experience of contemporary paradigms, such as Cloud, DevOps and Agile
- Experience in writing software in one or more languages, such as JavaScript, Python, Java, C#
- Microservices, Event Driven, or other Cloud Native experience
- Working knowledge of container technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker), services, and API models (e.g. Swagger, OpenAPI)
- Hands-on experience with different storage solutions (e.g. SQL database(s), Kafka, InfluxDB, etc)
- Experience with scalable networking technologies (e.g. Load Balancers, Firewalls) and web standards (e.g. REST APIs, web security mechanisms)
- Effective project management, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work well with a cross-functional and geographically dispersed team and customer base
- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives and IT Management
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
- Experience in client service role would be advantageous
- Fluent in English and Mandarin, Cantonese fluency is a plus
