Your new role
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provide overall artistic leadership and inspiration for fashion design team to develop creative concepts of both men’s and women’s woven and knit
  • Collaborate hand in hand with fashion design team to provide artistic direction on new inspiration and determine which artistic elements to use
  • Conduct brainstorming sessions with creative team, maintaining strategic and creative thinking to develop innovative and actionable creative initiatives in a fiscally responsible manner
  • Work with internal supply chain management teams as well as different departments along our own vertical supply chain to develop creative concept, design layout to final products for different campaigns and programs
  • Lead multi-skilled teams of designers, and collaborate with marketers, and supply chain management team, to deliver initial seasonal briefings, day-to-day direction, storyboarding, creative review meetings
  • Lead creative presentations and orchestrate other team members to work on the design
  • Prioritise work and resources across engagements based on short- and long-term needs and markets
  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams in developing marketing plans and compelling content, and identifying business potentials
  • Develop the teams with the professional knowledge Working Experience (minimum and preferred requirement)
  • 10 years and above of related experience across Creative disciplines such as Visual Arts, Multimedia, Industrial/Product or other expressions of Art.
  • Strong creative vision with an understanding of business objectives
  • Extensive design experience in the Asia region, especially China market Language Skill (written/ spoken and level of proficiency)
  • Strong aesthetic sense and understanding the market needs and passionate about the impact of design in shaping the future
  • Excellent presentation and articulation skills, able to present ideas well
  • Leading team with the ability to work and communicate effectively with different parties with different cultures and backgrounds

What you'll need to succeed
  • Degree holder in Fashion Design, Textile, Fashion Marketing or equivalent, with understanding and passion on Fashion trends and design
  • Over 10years experience in Fashion industry with showing the leadership skills on a team and able to drive change
  • With the sense of Art, Fashion, further deliver into operation and commercial level, driving business
  • Able to work cross team, working closely with the Business Director
  • Able to work independently and under pressure, motivate the team
  • Good common of English, with Good common of Chinese is a plus
