Head of Ventilation / HVAC

Your new company
Our client is a prolonged leader in ventilation, air movements & infrastructure sectors. They are looking for a Head of Ventilation / HVAC to lead their sales team. This person will be the business unit head for the position who will have P&L and management responsibilities.

Your new role
  • Led a sales engineers team focus on the supply of the brand’s HVAC products to large-scale development projects.
  • Forecast sales performance, plan and execute sales & distribution strategies to ensure reaching the team’s annual targets.
  • Supervise sales team and be responsible for overall planning on sales activities, tendering, and negotiation process, marketing, and promotional functions.
  • Direct and lead sales teams on design work, tendering, and assist site supervision and project management of HVAC system and other building services-related systems, including after-sales services and trouble-shooting.
  • Liaise with customers and attend meetings with customers or customers’ representatives, follow up proactively on any customers’ requirement.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with the completed contracts maintain a positive, supportive, and hospitable attitude to develop and influence customers to maintain a long-term service relationship,
  • To lead the project division with P/L responsibility.
  • Support the team to work with suppliers and key customer business partners for HK and Macau Market.

What you'll need to succeed
  • Bachelor Degree, preferably in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum 12 years' HVAC related sales experience, of which at least 8 years at a managerial capacity
  • Candidates with technical background and knowledge in the Macau market would be a PLUS
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
  • Experienced in escorting customer trip to factory for product quality assurance test
  • Effective project execution skill including cash flow planning and project monitoring
  • Strong selling, influencing, and negotiation skills plus excellent interpersonal skill at all levels
  • Independent, resourceful, strategic-thinking, and able to work under pressure
