HR and Payroll Associate job for a Global Professional Services Organisation to assist in their function

We are partnering with a global professional services firm with a strong international presence and are currently looking for a dynamic individual to join their team to support their HR and Payroll initiatives.

Your new role
This position reports into the Payroll Senior Manager and your responsibilities will include:
  • Assisting in day-to-day operations of the HR functions and duties
  • Providing clerical and administrative support to Human Resources executives
  • Compiling and updating employee records (hard and soft copies)
  • Ensuring the smooth running and accuracy of the monthly / periodic invoicing and payroll cycles including coordination with front office and finance teams
  • Process online timesheets and ensure accurate data entry into the system
  • Prepare monthly payroll calculation and pay slips for the workforce within the region
  • Maintain a good record for all the payroll transactions
  • Assist in preparation of timely and accurate accounting journals for all payroll transactions

What you'll need to succeed
To be qualified for this position, you must possess:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in HR or Payroll
  • Fresh graduates are welcome
  • Attention to detail and numerically strong
  • Possess the ability to work under pressure and demonstrate discretion and confidence at all times
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills as well as good problem solving ability is required
