IT Risk & Operation Manager (70k-80k)

Your new role
  • Lead the information security function and drive initiatives towards compliance with HKMA cyber and information security requirements
  • Oversee operation control reviews / self-assessments with local requirements and Group control standardization initiatives in liaison with Head Office
  • Lead the business continuity management function to ensure quality and timely execution of branch-wide BCM activities
  • Participate in new product / process / system development to ensure relevant regulatory requirements and corporate policies are met with all significant issues addressed. Provide view and advise on way forward from information security and technology risk prospective
  • Provide information security advisory to business units where required, through participation on advisory engagements / special projects within the organisation


What you'll need to succeed
  • Minimum 10 years’ working experience in banks, with minimum 6 years’ hands on experience in Information Security, Internal Control or Operations Risk
  • Familiarized and be able to advise on HKMA requirements, banking practices related to TRM, BCP, E-banking, Customer Data Protection, Outsourcing and Cybersecurity (CFI/C-RAF)
  • Exposure to data centre, networks, operating systems, web, messaging and security system would be a plus
  • Professional qualification like CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC accreditation or similar is desirable
  • Degree in Information Technology / Computer Science or related discipline
  • Good command in both written and spoken English and Chinese
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an ability to influence, negotiate and constructively challenge individuals at different levels
  • Self-motivated, energetic, meticulous with good analytical mind
  • Able to work on own initiative with minimal direction and handle multiple assignments independently
