This local bank is looking for an experienced Sanctions expert to act as the assistant manager / manager in overseeing all sanctions risk across all banking businesses. With an aggressive growth plan and the vision to become a better leader in its field, it continues to gain market share over its competitors.
Your new role
As a member of the team, you will monitor the Sanctions control for the Bank across all business lines. Apart from supporting the team head in consolidate the Sanctions framework, you will also guide the team to conduct risk assessments and compliance reviews. Proactively liaise with business units to ensure the Bank's adherence to respective regulatory requirements is also part of your job duties.
What you'll need to succeed
- Ideally you will have at least 5 years of banking experience within the Sanctions area
- Prior experience in handling systems threshold tuning
- An eye for detail and possessing excellent communication skills
- Strong knowledge of both AML and Sanctions regulations
