Senior Legal Counsel, Asia, Fortune 500

Excellent in-house role for commercial lawyer who is looking to join a well established regional legal team

Your new company
Our client is a multinational product manufacturer who has planted its footprints across the globe. Due to the rapid expansion of business in Asia, they are seeking a senior in-house lawyer with solid commercial and contract experience to join their regional legal team based in Hong Kong.

Your new role
  • Provide strategic legal advice to management and stakeholders in achieving the business initiatives and online expansion projects in Asia
  • Assist from a legal perspective in general corporate, commercial, supply chain as well as other operational matters
  • Draft, review and negotiate various business contracts, agreements and legal & compliance documentations
  • Protect the company's interest by monitoring the latest development of relevant laws and regulations; identify legal risks and provide pragmatic solutions
  • Handle legal disputes and support in the investigations if needed
  • Liaise with external counsels on legal assignments when necessary

What you'll need to succeed
  • Qualified lawyer with 5+ years' PQE in Hong Kong or major common law jurisdictions
  • In-house experience preferably in the OEM / manufacturing field
  • Strong business acumen and communication skills
  • A good team player and ability to work independently and embrace new challenges
  • Fluent in both written and spoken English and Chinese
