Senior Legal Counsel, General Commercial
Excellent in-house opportunity for mid level commercial lawyers who are looking to join a stable business
Your new company
Our client is a sizeable group with over a hundred year of company history, and is also a market leader in their specialty. They are currently looking for a mid-senior level lawyer who is well versed in corporate commercial space to join their legal team based in Hong Kong office.
Your new role
- Provide legal advice and support to the Group on various legal affairs, including commercial contractual matters, general corporate compliance and legal risk management
- Draft, review and negotiate contacts and agreements for different business units
- Assist the Group in implementing projects such as digital and transformation programmes and other business initiatives / operations
- Handle contentious matters including complaints and disputes management
- Supervise and coordinate with external parties / law firms if necessary
What you'll need to succeed
- Hong Kong qualified lawyer with around 8 years of PQE
- Experienced working in-house under a fast paced environment
- Ability to handle legal advisory work independently
- Good team player; Strong commercial and business acumen
- Fluency in written and verbal English and Chinese
