Your new company
My client is a renowned listed company in Hong Kong who is seeking to hire a mid to senior level in-house lawyer to join their rapidly expanding business.
Your new role
- Provide legal advices to senior management on various legal issues, including listing rules compliance, intellectual property, data privacy and general commercial matters
- Draft, review and negotiate legal and transactional documents, commercial contracts including but not limited to licensing agreements, distribution agreements, service contracts and marketing materials
- Supervise external lawyers to manage the legal process of litigations and business transactions
- Identify and analyse legal risks; Conduct legal research on new laws and regulations to keep the management abreast of legislative changes that may have implications to the business
- Work closely with company secretarial team in handling corporate governance compliance
What you'll need to succeed
- Degree or above in Law
- Qualified solicitor admitted in Hong Kong with 3+ years of PQE in commercial space
- Relevant Listing Rule Compliance experience is required
- Detail-minded and able to work independently
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
