Service Delivery Manager

Our client is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to join their team!
Your new role
As the service manager for the network team, you will oversee the operations of the specialized technical support team within the parameters of the service operating level agreements and take the required steps to guarantee high-calibre performance and service.

  • Support the Service team in providing network support for our VIP clients
  • Keep methods and procedures up to date to ensure that data networks are secure and healthy
  • Support the broad range of service delivery, and carry out routine network change requests
  • Serve as the main point of contact for general inquiries from users and give clients suggestions to improve network infrastructure
  • Monitor and track network capacity, performance and managing growth
  • Establish and manage service level agreements in consultation with business leads, ensuring their ongoing effectiveness, efficiency and costs are reviewed, taking necessary action to ensure that quality of service, performance, availability and cost targets are met and that overall service delivery is balanced with available resources
  • Provide both technical and non-technical leadership to the Technical Support team dealing with escalated issues ensuring compliance with relevant corporate policy, procedures and conventions
  • Provide on-site standby service during special events when required

What you'll need to succeed
  • Diploma or degree in IT or related disciplines
  • 4+ years experience in networking / wireless LAN solution deployment
  • Experience of leading and managing staff in a similarly complex technological environment
  • Experience of managing technical services across both hardware and software solutions
  • Experience of chairing meetings and giving presentations on all aspects of the role
  • Knowledge and understanding of Industry Best Practice and relevant guidelines
  • Significant knowledge of relevant technologies, their use and application
  • Comprehensive knowledge, acquired through hands-on experience, in a specialist technical support environment
